Welding shop

The other day I had the unique privilege of being at my friend’s welding shop when the plasma cutter was in operation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_cutting). As well as welding farm equipment (and anything else that needs it), he makes decorative metal art, and I was painting tractors for him after a series of busy holiday craft fairs.

Tractors!

When I was finished, I wandered into the shop, where this was happening:

Plasma cutter at work

Quite a robot

When I asked Kyle if he ever wears protective equipment, he laughed

Pretty

Grinding
